She was obviously making a concerted effort to drag early. In fact, the grounds crew had to repack the area in front of the rubber after every half inning (seems VT doesn't use the clay in pitcher's circle many schools do). That said, she was still 'flying' some. The blue crew chose to ignore it. She was wild high for much of the game explaining the high pitch count, walks and HR's when she missed.
